Casey’s is still growing, but it also cleaned house in fiscal 2026. C-Store Dive reported that the company sold 41 convenience stores for $42 million, including 10 sites in Mississippi, which marked Casey’s exit from that state after entering it through the CEFCO acquisition.

That divestiture does not signal weakness across the whole chain. Casey’s reported record fiscal 2026 results, with total revenue of about $17.56 billion and nearly $1.5 billion in EBITDA. The move looks more like pruning acquired locations that did not fit the long-term map than a retreat from its Midwest convenience-store empire.
