#31: Motherhood Gave Her Brief Stability During a Difficult Period
Becoming a mother gave Sandra a temporary sense of emotional stability during a period when much of her personal life felt increasingly chaotic. Caring for her son Dodd brought her comfort and purpose at a time when her marriage, career pressures, and emotional struggles were becoming harder to manage.

Friends later suggested that motherhood allowed Sandra to experience moments of genuine happiness away from Hollywood expectations and constant public scrutiny. Even so, the pressures surrounding fame and her relationship with Bobby Darin did not disappear. As she adjusted to family life, the couple also continued trying to maintain their image as one of entertainment’s biggest partnerships.
