#27: Wearing Shoes With Slick Soles
Shoes that look fine can still be risky if the soles are smooth, worn down, or slippery. This matters even more on tile, wood floors, wet pavement, or stairs. A favorite pair may feel comfortable, but if it does not grip well, it can make ordinary walking less stable.

Choose shoes that fit securely, support the foot, and have textured soles with good traction. It is also smart to replace worn shoes before they become unsafe. Style does not have to disappear after 60, but footwear should help you move confidently instead of making every step a gamble.
