#50: Assuming You Don’t Need Technology Skills
It is understandable to feel tired of technology, especially when devices, passwords, apps, and updates keep changing. But avoiding basic tech skills can make daily life harder. Banking, medical portals, family photos, appointment reminders, travel plans, and scam protection often require at least some digital confidence.

The helpful approach is to learn only what you actually need. Practice video calls, password safety, online forms, texting, maps, and spotting suspicious links. Ask a patient friend, family member, library, or class for help. Technology does not have to take over your life, but it should not shut you out.
