#57: Letting Muscle Loss Sneak Up on You
Muscle loss can happen slowly, so it may not be obvious at first. Stairs feel harder, jars become tougher to open, groceries feel heavier, or getting up from a chair takes more effort. Because the change is gradual, many people adjust around it instead of realizing strength needs regular attention.

A better approach is to treat muscle as something worth maintaining, not something only athletes think about. Light strength exercises, protein-rich meals, walking, balance work, and regular movement can all help. Even small efforts matter when they are consistent. The goal is staying capable in everyday life.
