#24: Meat-and-Cheese Omelets
An omelet can be a nutritious breakfast, but restaurant versions filled with bacon, sausage, ham, and several cheeses are another story. The eggs provide protein, yet the heavy fillings can quickly overwhelm their benefits.

Processed meats and cheese may add large amounts of sodium and saturated fat. Large portions can also be surprisingly high in calories. Fill an omelet with mushrooms, spinach, tomatoes, or peppers, then add a small amount of cheese for flavor rather than making meat and cheese the main ingredients.
